SAINT NICHOLAS CHURCH, VASILIKOS
The Byzantine church of Saint Nicholas is cituated on the east side of Mount Skopos, southest of the Zante Town, on the ride of the earthen road that ascends to the monastery of Skopiotissa and forms part of a lying in ruins later monastery complex dated to the 18th century. The strategic location of the site, in combination with it’s geological position that affords a panoramic view to the west coast of the Peloponnese, overlooks the village of Vasillikos and, it’s also very popular location for weddings.
CAMEO ISLAND
Cameo Island, formally known as the pine-cladded isle of Agios Sostis. Until 1633 it was linked to the mainland of Laganas, until it was separated by an earthquake. Today this small island is privately owned and during the summertime it is connected with the mainland with a large wooden bridge and and it is operated as a beach bar. A small walkway and some steep stairs take you to the entrance. The high side of the island overlooks the bay. The other one is built on a little bay, with a wooden walkway (jetty) leading into the sea. Upon request, you can use the little bay of the island for special occasions as your wedding.

ARESTI CHAPEL & RESTAURANT
Aresti is located on the outskirts of Zante town in the Akrotiri area. There it is a small stone church with a large landscape garden. Aresti Restaurant is placed on the well-known Red Rock of Xenopoulos, beside the Krioneri Lighthouse (Zante town). In 1979 the owners decided to renovate their old traditional mansion. By 1990 with the help of the Zakynthian architect, Nikos Lycouressis, they created the Piano-Bar Restaurant Aresti. Its unique architecture, the traditional local materials used (stone, brick, wood), the old Zakynthian furniture of the granny’s and the painting , led to the unique beauty of Aresti. Aresti restaurant provides the perfect scenery in which to host your wedding event (Ceremony and reception or just your reception). In summer the cool garden with lovely sea views forms a magical setting in which to receive your guests.
MARATHONISI – TURTLE ISLAND
Marathonisi is a small uninhabited island off Zakynthos in western Greece. The island is also called Turtle Island because if you see it from afar it has the shape of a turtle, was nhabited until the Second World War, but now is part of a Zakynthos National Marine Park. It is reproduction site for the Caretta- Caretta sea turtle. The beach in the north is the turtle nesting ground and mostly cordoned off, though there is a small area where boats stop and some suntanning and swimming are allowed. There are also sea caves in the south of the island where travelers can swim and snorkel. This is a place that, due to its natural beauty and landscape, many choose to spend this very important day there and take wonderful photos.

CATHOLIC CHURCH – SAN MARKO
The Catholic Church of San Marko is located in St. Mark’s Square in Zante Town and was built in 1518 during the Venetian rule. Like most buildings in Zante Town, it was completely destroyed by the devastating earthquake of 1953 and was rebuilt in its current form in 1960. It is a church with a unique architecture, with Venetian elements and contains in the interior the statue of Saint Mark, two large candlesticks that adorn the pedestal of the statue, the Holy Cross, a marble baptismal font and more. It is a very good choice for those who wish to have a Catholic wedding on the island.
BEACH WEDDINGS
Beach weddings take place on public beaches thus they are not private. Some beaches are quieter than others and depending on if it is low or high season. The island of Zakynthos is famous for its magnificent beaches and clear blue waters. We can recommend beaches for this very important day for you, but if you have a specific one in mind, we will make sure to do whatever is necessary to make your dreams come true.
AT YOUR ACCOMMODATION
At your accommodation (Poolside/garden/seaside weddings): These weddings take place, of course, at the pool area/garden of your accommodation. Prices will depend on the hotel owners but mostly are free of charge if you stay there (You can ask them for before you book). We can provide catering facilities for your reception dinner upon request.
CHURCH WEDDINGS
Church Weddings: This area brings a nice religious touch to the ceremony. You may have a proper civil wedding with the church as an inspirational background. St. Haralambos church is at a beautiful location in Kypselli next to the sea. Set on the low cliff edge overlooking the sea this location provides the perfect setting for your wedding ceremony. It is just across from the Vardiola restaurant which makes a lovely combination for your wedding and reception. In its elevated position, the sea view is breathtaking. This location is free of charge.
